Jay says in his journal today that he knows most of his players for Sunday. Who should start our biggest game for decades? Side picks itself in most areas, question is at right back for me. I'd go with:
Worgan
Coyle Watt Miles Mills Bodkin Parkinson Rogers Flisher
May Collin
Subs: Godman, Simpson, Davies, Brown, Jordan, Robertson, Greenhalgh

Looks about right, could swap Rogers for Brown but good cover on the bench, think that's been the difference this season.

Looks about right, could swap Rogers for Brown but good cover on the bench, think that's been the difference this season. Got to go with Rogers. Probably the most under rated player in the team but one of the most effective. Watch the way he reads the game. Always there picking up the pieces, breaking up the oppositions play. Brown good player effective coming from the bench but lacks the experience of Rogers.

Rogers has been outstanding so far the best passer by a mile for me.

If Akrofi wasn't cup-tied, would you have him on the bench?
Raw talent, youth and hunger v experience and maturity. Safety first says go for experience and maturity, but he could be a game changer coming of the bench late in a game...

Akrofi looks good, but I think Greenhalgh is also a good option to have on the bench, especially if we get to a point late in the game where we are tiring and a draw or win looks possible. In that situation you don't want to go too defensive because you just end up trying to park the bus and that might be suicide against league opposition. A forward with fresh legs who can run the ball up the pitch and win you some time is ideal. Akrofi might be able to do that but Greenhalgh has more experience. Anyway it's all conjecture as we know Akrofi can't play this season! I agree with the team you suggest, it's close to our side against Welling and that proved highly effective. I can't see Jay wanting to depart too far from that.

But he is cup tied so no point in discussing it As far as I can see the only change might be Greenhouse for May to put more cover in midfield I'd to amazed if Simpson starts ahead of Coyle

I'd start Simpson I think the lad is a great prospect, Worgan Simpson watt miles mills Jp. Rogers Bodkin. Flish. Greenhalgh Collins
I think this team is strong and covers the pitch better than 442,and it setup to counter attack with pace with the 3 behind Collin,no point in having 2 up top when we will be defending for long periods then hit them quick with pace

I have a feeling we might well go five in the middle Ben in for Jay maybe.

Really only two positions where it might change for me. Simpson or Coyle and either Greenhalgh or May.
I expect Jay to pick Coyle for his experience over Simpson at RB, and Jay May to play up front with Frannie over Greenhalgh in midfield.
Tough call between the two, but I expect Jay would rather have Greenhalgh on the bench ready to come on a run at defenders later in the 2nd half.

May will start so good at holding the ball up and a real handful for any centre half. Plus he has chipped in his fair share if goals so far. Pretty impressed following the negative comments when he signed.
