A stone that is as big as an entire town? Ayers Rock maybe?

Not a great fan of cup hype.
Stevenage seem to be a well run club, doing all the right things for their level. As are Maidstone.
Obviously there is no comparison between grounds.

If you read what Frannie actually says, the headline isn't really correct. He actually said that like-for-like Maidstone look like they would be as big as, if not bigger, than Stevenage should the Stones reach the same level. This is a typically mischievous piece of headline writing by the KM / Kent Online.
I admire Fannie's confidence, he is obviously raring to go for Sunday so it's all good.

I think we're going into this with a lot more confidence than most non-league sides would, and rightly so in my opinion. We've got a fantastic squad, we're taking great support with us, the management team is improved this year and everything is going in the right direction. Stevenage aren't on the best run and even if plenty of their fans turn up they won't be able to drown us out so I think despite being the underdogs we've got every reason to believe we can win this.

It'll presumably be the biggest crowd at a Stones game since May 1992 - I'm not having any luck finding the attendance figure for the last Div 4 game. Should break the 3000 mark, which even 2226 cynics will admit is bigger than anything seen at the Gallagher?

I think Sunday's crowd will be under 3,000.Last season the attendance for the Stevenage vs Stourbridge match was 2,100,with Stourbridge taking 1,000 to Broadhall Way.We might actually outnumber them.

A mate of mine is a Stevenage fan and he reckons they'll have between 2,500-3,000 of their fans - I think he's already been on the shandy haha.

I had a look through their squad profiles the other day - distinctly underwhelming to be honest.

Stevenage live for the FA cup ,its the later rounds they want ,its probably the clubs major earner ,and they will want another premiership side and SFC hardly ever get giant killed ,this will be very very tough ,to us its a bit of an adventure ,to them its bread and butter.
BUT.
If we score a couple of early goals any things possible.
