Good luck to him, if it were a more local team I'd take it as one of those 'might as well take a look at the lad' type things. For a team as big a Villa and a reasonable distance away to invite him up however, you've got to think they've put a big of time and effort into looking at him and must be fairly serious.

Doubt he has a contract with us, so looks like another Smalling. But good luck to him. Possibility of a pre-season friendly with Villa if he makes it?
