Disagree with your take on the first penalty. It looked harsh from where I was, but once it was given in that position the red card was almost inevitable.

I enjoyed tonight's game - well worth five quid. In fact, I enjoyed it far more than Saturday. Have we reached the stage where going two behind and looking pretty crap is actually entertaining because of its novelty value?!
Very brave of Jay to put out such a 'weak' team (without even some first teamers on the bench, just in case). I thought at first that he'd got it wrong, but you can't argue with the result - and some good individual performances.
Not convinced by our goalie though. Is he our first choice if Worgan's injured/unavailable? If so, I am a little concerned - Worgan is in a different league altogether.
Talking of goalies - their's was a good sport. Although, if I'd been his manager, I'd have rather he concentrated a bit more on the game and a bit less on banter with the crowd. Cracking reflex save from Akrofi though (and what a goal that would have been!).

Godman is much better than he showed last night. He has been outstanding in previous games he has played in.

Home to Herne Bay in next round.
Like last year - all home games!

I thought that Browny and Bradley Jordan were superb, the latter taking his goal extremely well.

Godman is much better than he showed last night. He has been outstanding in previous games he has played in. Wasn't his finest game last night, seemed to be a bit lacking in confidence coming for crosses, but as you say he has been very good in the past so was probably just "one of those games".

Yes it was a fun match, good to see some of the youngsters get a start, was impressed with Alex Akrofi, looks a good prospect. Was very close to the first penalty and it looked a dead cert to me, was a little surprised to see the red card come out though. A decent crowd and atmosphere last night, upwards and onwards!

great spirit showed by the younger lads, considering the line up hadn't really played together as a team ...Akrofi is a strong and very quick, entertaining game to watch, nice to see Davies back after a long time absent,,as for Godman he is not a bad goalie, just needs match time.
