Having seen the first four games and then nothing since I have to say that I was very impressed with the way that we are a much slicker passing side than those first four games. I thought we were excellent in every department today and Enfield rarely troubled us. Up front we were able to create good chances and took four of them well. There were also notable other chances such as Flish clear through, Frannie just losing out to the slightest of deflections at the end plus his audacious lob from 25 yards and a last minute touch denying Jay May the simplest of headed goals. After the first ten minutes or so when it all seemed up our end we just out played an opposition that looked capable of playing themselves. As he has received so much criticism I must mention Jack Parkinson who was in the mix for everything whether it be breaking play up, putting his foot on the ball to start things moving forward or simply winding the opposition up. It was also great to see that when substitutions were made this did not weaken the team at all and speaks volumes about strength in depth. At the start of the season I couldn't see us troubling the top spot. After watching that I can now.
Overall, an excellent and almost flawless performance dispatching of a difficult opposition on their home turf. A win, three points and very entertaining to watch. Well done the lads!
