Off to Folkestone on loan for a month
Hopefully he'll get a few games there, good luck to the lad

Does that mean Charley no longer plays for the Maidstone U-21's?

Don't really understand this but not shocked after Steve Watt got the nod as sub up front against Tonbridge.

I thought Charley looked the best player pre-season but then didn't seem to feature much

Still a question as to how much he can impact a game throughout 90 minutes and what his best position is. For me it's just off the striker and it's proved difficult for him to get a start in this position. Lots to come from Charley in the future and he's still very young and developing at senior level. I think the loan will be good for him and get the game time and importantly the starts to help him develop and get his fitness up.
