So the grill is due to open on Saturday replacing the burger van that was situated by the Lucas stand.
My concern is that's run by the same person who runs the pie hut, extremely slow service, high prices. We all like to have to something to eat at the ground but if this follows suit then we are going to have to queue for ages to over pay for a burger!!

Extremely high prices??? The meal deals in the pie hut are very good value, a far better deal than the overpriced tasteless burgers from the burger van.

The pie meal is amazingly tasty and is always worth every penny.

He didn't say extremely high prices... Other than that, I agree. Pies, pasties, sausage rolls...all lovely and good value

More evidence of Ravy Davy simply making it up to suit his argument

The previous burger van prices were hardly cheap and the burgers could only be eaten after 5 pints! So not a problem for me on Saturdays!

Whatever happened to the last person with an original name ('footyfan') to speak out for the previous burger bar...?

Is this fella the old burger seller?..
As for the high price of the pies..i often get the meal deal pie, chips, peas, gravy for 4 nicker!!.
VFM that ,then wash it down with pints at £3..match day at the Gallagher is not expensive compared to most in our league.

My only concern having seen the half-finished hut was the serving hatch looked too small. Don't think you'd get more than two people serving in there whereas the burger van sometimes had 3 or 4 people serving to cope with demand.
Other than that if it's as good as the pies then we should be in for a treat.

That previous burger van served dross. High priced rubbish that was cheaper at away grounds.

That didn't seem to put you off though? Right - When I had no choice - I am always in a rush on Saturday so have a late lunch at the game. It still was overpriced rubbish.

okay, we did not have the same gate figures but who recalls the burger stand at SWAMPLANDS? always slow service and often got your order wrong! Nice food though!

Pretty disappointed with this if I'm honest. No onions and burgers only marginally better than last year. Back to the pie hut for me
