I Think this one will hurt the Mangles fan more than Fran/lee as Sonny really is "the local boy" and one of them.
This is a good solid player with lots of potential, who has had no guidance and development, with the proper defensive coaching he will now get, this will be a great career move for Sonny.
Welcome to the big time Sonny, cheers to our little feeder club,Ta very much!

Sonny getting coaching from JP? Won't take long for him to start hoofing the long balls then Maidstone fans can look forward to nine months of that diagonal ball to no one on the left flank, or that chipped ball down the channel to no one on the right flank. Money well spent Sound familiar? You sound like a couple of bitchy mangels, the type of dickheads that the Mangels Manager and captain slags off when leaving the club, the boy has not even kicked a ball for us,and hes getting criticised by our "fans". I've checked the forum and website they have ONE coach with a UEFA B Licence,Sonny will get all the development and support with us ,its not his fault he was left in the worst CS defence to stagnate is it. We have 3 UEFA A and 2 UEFA B Coaches,So Sonny is in good hands at last.

He is definitely cover for Watt so he probably will only play about forty games..

Considering Jay wanted him before last season and he comes recommended by Frannie and Worgs I think this is an awesome signing. Add that to the fact he is only 23 and had over 200 appearances for a club who have been above us for a good few years I think it adds weight to how good a signing this is.
Put it another way, do any of us ever question Jays decision to start every game with Millsy? ....Sonny Miles has as much experience at a higher level.....
With the usual MFI shouts, and "hope they go bust again" and references to rats deserting a sinking ship on the other forum.......how ironic these comments appear on a thread about a player who was barely born when these events happened.....happy for them to focus on a time when Shakespear's Sister were no 1 with "Stay".....

The vitriol from them is just as bitter and twisted, you thought they would be used to it by now, when Maidstone come knocking the Mangels players come running.I see they had a reserve game tonight ,lets hope they find a gem ,for us to sign next season!.
Every Mangel should remember Sonny Miles did 12 years for them ,you get less for murder.

Listening to Jay's interview on the signing it sounds like Jack might well be playing in midfield this season. We now have Watt Coyle & Miles as options at CB.
