Is it not a fact that we will have to release players to make space for others to come in? We all have players we like and would want to keep but the reality is some are injury prone, some are at the end of their careers and some haven't quite made the grade this season (on a regular basis) And how many injury prone players can we realistically keep hold of? We've signed Watt for another year but Orlando,Phillips,Sobers? Plus Jay will want to move some on anyway judging by his comments about being let down after the ETU away game. Wanting players who know how to get out of this division rather than the supposedly more gifted ones like KHM? So, definitely be some moving on. Tough decisions over the coming weeks I suspect

Tough decisions over the coming weeks I suspect I thought that KHM is talented but lightweight. I thought Warren Whitely was a better player overall in comparison - and he was not retained when he was on loan with us during the 2012/3 season.

There is always the possibility that 2 or 3 players( injured for most of 2013/14) will be kept on in preseason & only if they come through this will they be signed on in 2014/15.
They did this with Nicky Humphrey last season.

Agree that Warren Whiteley was better than KHM, didn't rate him much and extremely lightweight. The Muggeridge move is apparently common knowledge to some of the Tonbridge players and personally I think that if that goes through then Orlando might make way due to the consistent setbacks to his knee injury. 100% need a decent Centre half next to Watt and a holding player in the middle of park. With regards to more numbers up front, this Joe Taylor at Sittingbourne sounds a real prospect and being lined up by conference south and Ryman Prem sides.

Strange you should talk about Joe Taylor at Sittingbourne - different type of player to our 2 strikers - more of a wide striker - lanky bloke - has said he will only move to conference & above - He is desparate to go up higher up the ladder but saw him 2 times against Hythe & thought he lacked core strength - will always be effective at both Ryman levels though.

Being a local lad and at 22 it could be a possibility and offers a different option. If Attwood agrees a new deal then it will be someone that will be 3rd/4th choice with Harris and agreed Taylor does appear to have aspirations to be playing higher but was just a thought. Alternatively Luke Blewden would be a decent option, did very well for Crawley a few seasons back and had a strong year at Lewes, not really given a chance at Tonbridge and would offer good competition.
