Like to see campbell given a chance (if there are no fitness issues) was impressed with him when played in the holding role, done the dirty work well and played everything nice and simple

Three midfielders are needed I think.

Central defence has been our biggest problem all season, If Watty stays fit then fine, but he needs a quality partner, Davis, Cox and Mills.. Midfield we need a player of the quality and that does the same job that Rooney did plus a holding midfielder. Cover for Flisher on the left, and for gods sake lets not play a top quality striker like Attwood wide left. If Orlando is fit then that should be the bases of a play-off/ championship winning side. So I would say 3-4 players

Danny Lye and Ryan Royston. Why is it so obvious to me and you but not the management?

Ant do you think Jay will be looking for another striker or is he happy to have just 3 available for selection?

Reading that article it's good to see he mentions Charlie Cole. Biggest mistake we've made (other than losing him) is not trying to entice Charlie over here as club secretary when it was apparent Darren wasn't coming back. Though I'm guessing he bleeds blue and white so probably wishful thinking. The best secretary about by a mile. Good point, although I'm not sure Charlie would use phrases like "Call the police there's been a mugging on Canvey Island"....great twitter comms from Darren! Btw, I've not posted that article as a cheap anti-Angels shot, I think we can learn a lot from that ourselves and how good we have it at the moment in comparison. Their Chairman has already come out and said they wont be able to compete with us and Margate next season "budget wise" and he can't see them leaving the coming up from the Ryman Prem for some time. Fans pay their money and to a certain extent that gives them the right to criticise but as highlighted by Mr Elphick fans can play their part, I take my hat off to Dan Parkinson who was the subject of criticism from a small minority but has put in some pretty decent performances since and scored some crucial goals (last min against Dulwich in particular) Jay and the players rallied round Dan and showed very public support for the "young" players, in total contrast to the Angels players.

I feel Jay found it extremely difficult to manage 5 in the 2012/13 season but at times we had no options on the bench and were forced to use exhausted players & or players with niggles. We really need to have that impact Ade had off the bench again.

I see Oztumer signed for Peterborough in the end, not quite Burnley, but a better chance of seeing some match action. I fear for his ankles in League 1 though!

Weren't Burnley linked with Woolery as well?
Back on topic, I'd like to see us give Ben Greenhalgh another try. He looked good for concord the other week and must prefer to play in front of 2000 for a promotion push?
