Very true, but the chances of keeping everyone fit through an entire season has proved difficult. If a Squad mentality can be maintained, it might work, but your point is well made

Maybe the key is having players with a true versatility in playing in different positions

Elphick from Tonbridge, Kane Wills (skipper & centre mid for Bognor) and Stefan Payne (Hornchurch)in an ideal world.Priority for me personally is keeping hold of Attwood & Flisher who will prob attract higher league interest and Orlando getting back fit, if he doesn't Clunis is the ideal replacement! Definately don't need wholesale changes just 2/3 to strengthen a very good sqaud. If Otzumer doesn't play football league next season theres something very wrong, was a privelage watching him play at the Gallagher (even more so as we won anyway!) www.courier.co.uk/Tonbridge-Angels-skipper-admits-leaving-club/story-20999671-detail/story.html

Could it be irony where it says 'relagation from the Connie south was utterly embarassing'.... ...to then join a side in the Ryman Premier?

Let's not get too hung up with players who played in a relegated squad.

Dont believe everything you read on the Tonbridge forum. 2500 at Maidstone vs 200 at Whitehawk a season at the top or another relegation scrap ?

At least we know at least 2 new players are coming (hopefully). As Jay likes to do his business early the next two weeks will be interesting.
