The match report is a very fair summary of the events as they unfolded.
The only comments that I would add are that it was noticeable that our periods of dominance in the game were created when we decided/chose to play with the ball on the ground and actually attempted to pass round the opposition rather than lumping the ball down the field, using the full width of the pitch.
it is no coincidence that their periods of dominance were when we did just lump it down the middle and consequently kept giving the ball back to the opposition.
The second additional comment is that when we threw on Jack Harris and Charley Robertson we looked the more threatening of the two sides, but this must be tempered by the fact that we were throwing caution to the wind at this stage. I thought that both made positive impacts though

Also, Noel Imber is a fine keeper at this level for Enfield, but did we need to demonstrate this by directing every gilt edged chance straight at him ? The Queen Elizabeth Stadium is an interesting venue, but like anything with a running track you can be a long way from the action.

When the seagulls follow the trawler, it’s because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea. Man of constant sorrow....is that you?

For me, in terms of agility and anticipation, no other goalkeeper comes close to him in this League

Thought we actually played quite well and considering Enfield have beaten Bognor and drawn with Dulwich in recent weeks it was never going to be an easy game.
Having said that on another day we could have and maybe should have scored 4 or 5. Great saves from both keepers kept the scoreline the same. It really didn't look like a penalty from where I was, and when you consider we weren't awarded one in the 2nd half when Alex Brown was brought down it makes the award seem even more of a mystery.
Enfield celebrated as though they'd won the league so you could see how much it meant to them.
Great pass from Jack Parkinson to Zac for our goal and despite not winning I thought defensively we looked better than we have looked for some time.
The youngsters in midfield worked their socks off and deserve a bit more credit than they're getting, these players are the future and I for one am very pleased they're wearing the amber shirt.
