Hello all fans, I hope you don't mind me coming onto the forum! but I was just wanted to know something..
When we play you next month as you know it will be a big crowd, Near the end of the season, Play offs potential.
Anyway, we're doing a weekender up at Maidstone, last season we done it at Margate and there is coach coming up on that saturday for the fans I believe.
But what I wanted to know is is there any good places to go in the evening around maidstone? There is around 40 or so coming up on that Friday and staying till the Sunday but wanted to do something on the Friday and Saturday night.. We are staying around the Travel lodge in Maidstone Central.

I'd say Maidstone has a bit of something for everybody. Not really into clubs personally, being somewhat on the more mature side of 50, but the Maidstone club scene is pretty vibrant. There's also a number of decent pubs, some with live music, and loads of restaurants.

Decent pubs around the area? don't suppose a few stones fans will be a about will they? be good to have a chat so to say! You just have wonder round, loads of bars and pubs serving ales etc. The spoons at Maidstone east station best for buffet of ales and lagers. If you want to be knee deep in clunge by midnight go to strawberry moons, roadhouse or mumu's. Live music usually at Earls and at druids. Shatty and toon are always out getting pissed so msg them. If you drink more than 20 pints then you'll be wanting Bryan and the heavy gang. Hope this helps and you enjoy the hangovers with the town traffic whizzing by your hotel room window.

Also, don't be surprised to find when you wake up, toon or shatty hanging out the back of you offering a cup of tea and bacon sarnie....then you'll remember the pink velcro trousers and the black leather chaps and copious amounts of the jager bombs plied down your throat. You have been warned.

If you pop into Beaverbrook's jewellers, they should be good for a free glass of Pinot Grigio. Depends how sophisticated you are - I understand The Pippin is seriously a la mode.

Wondered how long it would take for the usual hilarity with suggesting the Queen Anne to begin again

John .Maidstones a top night out ,your lucky your here for two.Much better than Margate.
As said bars, clubs and Restaurants of all persuasions everywhere most are within a 10 minute walk of where your staying.
40 of you may have a problem getting into a club or packed bar ,the bouncers in Maidstone are fearsome and take no prisoners be warned.
Its packed and very buzzing.

Plenty of 'young ladies' at your 'hotel' too.
Oh, and mind the underpasses either side of the river on your way back to the hotel - they are STILL under water!

with the amount of support the supporters club has received from them recently, may I recomend you visit the Brenchley Arms in the square. Nice service, nice food, nice room for committee meetings
