Keeper (last man) stops certain goal - only a yellow?
All that business towards the end with their number four?
Hardly any extra time played for all their delaying tactics.
That silly business making us wait for our corner while he wrote in his little book.
And that was just the last part of the game!
Hate to work with that guy.

We deserved zilch from that game. Personally he was our best player in the end and did all he could to level it for us.

Lol we really do need to take a long hard look at ourselves and stop constantly blaming the ref. I do have to laugh when people scream and shout yet the refs blatantly made the right decision. Today it was a penalty but it was never a goal scoring opportunity. Our guy (zac I think?) I was going away from goal n wasn't going to score if he successfully rounded the keeper the ball was knocked too far ahead. Yes he'd have reached the ball but wouldn't have had the angle to score. Moral of the story. It's not always the refs fault we don't win!

He had a good game. We've had much much worse! Blame lies with us today. Just weren't at it, plus they played well.
Usual story at home

The Ref was OK,we have had far far worse.Maybe we should have got more than 30 seconds play out of the 3 minutes injury time indicated though.Well done Canvey, they got what they came for(a draw)and should have won.

Moral of the story. It's not always the refs fault we don't win! I'm not blaming the ref, in fact I very rarely criticise refs - they have a hard job and generally do it well. But today's ref was very inconsistent and seemed to have an agenda of his own. OK, so he favoured us towards the end of the game, but that's just as bad as favouring the other side. A ref's job is to make fair and impartial decisions, not to let one side get away with things, then have second thoughts and try to 'balance it up'. That last 10 or 15 minutes was farcical - I don't think Canvey got more than one decision! Yet at the same time, he ignored their no, 4 totally taking the piss right in front of him. As for the penalty - I was standing just behind the goal and the ball wasn't knocked too far - it looked like a pretty certain goal to us, had the goalie not gone for his feet. How much more of a certain goal scoring opportunity do you want that a one-on-one with the goalie and him having to risk a penalty and a sending-off to stop it?? He should have gone. I'm not saying that would have won the game for us, I think we were unlikely to win by then anyway, so it's not sour grapes. But rules are rules - stopping a goal scoring certainly is a red.

No referee can be as bad as the referee at Bourne Park last season. By that referee at Sittingbourne are all poor referees judged.
