Well that clears up the voting pattern, both the North and South voted yes, with 3 votes from the premier teams, the system is flawed beyond words

I could take Doswell's comments more seriously had his club stood up and argued the case for 3G on the day of the vote

Totally agree, why propose a law change and not promote it at the meeting, madness!

It is something to do with the Sutton rep at the meeting being unable to attend at the last minute.

It is something to do with the Sutton rep at the meeting being unable to attend at the last minute. In practical terms, may have made the score different but the result would have been the same. Any ideas which three conference prem clubs voted for?

I reckon two might have been Welling and Bromley judging by their chairmen's support on twitter. And their reserves are being 'allowed' to play on 3G in the Surburban League today:
Welling United v Bromley - Suburban League Shield (Reserve Team Fixture) (3:00pm at 3G Samuel Mongagu, 122 Broad Walk, Kidbrooke, London SE3 8ND)
