Perhaps if we were to rip holes, paint parts of the pitch brown and let the local dogs shit all over it the surface would be more like a shitty non league grass pitch, perhaps then the suits would be more convinced ? Good idea - but you'll also need a few mushroom circles, on the Bourne Park model. An ornamental lake might be nice, too.

Anybody seen Frannie Collin's latest tweet, I assume this is in response to yet another player coming out and against 3G and insisting 3G caused an injury....because Doctor said so.
Frannie Collin, in my opinion has just signed for us for the rest of his career !

The 3G haters derby between Tonbridge and Ebbsfleet has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

My missus, who gets to assess a lot of sports injuries professionally, reckons grass is a hazard specifically because it gets turfed up, and surface irregularities are dangerous when you're landing or turning. Whereas 3G doesn't get turfed up, so it's highly predictable. But I'm not sure: is this a debate about what's good for the game, or is it about what's bad for certain football-club owners?

So JT, what's it like in your back garden? Bit damp underfoot but the hot tub is another story. Loads of water in there.

All Premier Division games now off. Has anyone a plan to get the league finished off this season?

It's about 45 games now! Looking at billericay and grays (providing they play tonight) they still have 20 league games to play each. Looking how many days left in the season they will need to play a game almost every 4.5 days, providing there are no more postponed games. Looking at the long term weather more rain and storms expected next week. I can def see an extended season coming unless there are no more called off and I can't see that happening !

No season extension, its in the rules, all games must be completed by the date set, of course those in charge have the power to change the rules, now there's a thought.

Just walked the dog in torrential non-stop rain (luckily plus umbrella). The field we go to because it's so well drained was under two inches of water in parts, like a marsh. If this is the future of English winter weather, how long till 3G is made compulsory?!
