Poor result tonight following another home draw on Saturday. After a couple of months of mixed form I think this weekend could well be a watershed for us. We desperately need a win and good performance if we're to stay in the hunt to win the league.
Anything less and I fear the damage to the teams confidence will be difficult to overcome. I'm still confident we'll make the play offs regardless, but if we want to win the league we need a big response.
If ever we could do with an early goal it's this Saturday!

4 days ago we were top of this division and now apparantly were a very poor team. something seems amiss here to me . Over reacting maybe? We lost. All teams lose. Manchester city have lost games. Its football. Say we win 3 or 4 nil saturday. And fellow teams slip up again. Are we not back to where we were? Would we still be a very poor team ? Were still very much in the hunt. Get behind the boys instead of slagging them every time we dont get our own way. If you dont some of you are going to be very dissapointed supporting Maidstone . Coys. 3 points saturday. Please

All I want from the team is for them to give 100% in each and every game and to come of the pitch knowing in their hearts that they couldn't have given anymore, if we win, draw or lose I wouldn't mind, but at the moment I get the feeling some players are coasting whilst others are giving their everything, surely it's about time these players who have been supported by Jay throughout this sticky patch begin to return the favour and give him the support that is lacking at the moment, listening to him last night after the game you could hear he was gutted not just about the result but for putting the supporters through that type of performance
I suppose I will get shot down by the old fans carping on about how much better we are now than back in the county / Kent league days and when we were last in the Ryman premier

How very over dramatic.
Saturdays not the biggest game of the season, nothings decided in Jan.
No one seems to want to win the league, Hornchurch held it the longest, then struggled to hold on to it, since they were toppled, Wealdstone had it for a couple of weeks over Christmas then lost it, then Ks and now us, Ks again with Dulwich on goal difference, now Bognor can also be added to the fight.
The title and playoff spots wont be decided until probably the last game of the season .This will be very close, best save the drama till then.
A win on Saturday is very much needed but no need to panic

A win on Saturday is very much needed but no need to panic Sorry should have been clearer in the title of the thread Biggest Game Of The Season So Far would have been more apt. No panic here, just the reality that with only one automatic spot to go for, if we want it ahead of the other 5 we need to string a run together like earlier in the season. The players owe a response to Jay I think as he's stuck with them and been behind them all the way. I don't think it's dramatic to say we need a good result Saturday, I've been behind the team all the way and have kept saying look where we are in the table. It's just slightly worrying now that we've picked up only 20 points from 13 games since the beggining of November and had such a bad result against a team in that position in the table. Momentum is a big thing and although nothing is won in January we need to start picking up the results if we're going to get promoted. I've every faith the team will get a good result Saturday and kick on, but make no mistake even if our form doesn't pick up soon someone else's will. COYS

Without wanting to sound pedantic, surely the next game is always the biggest of the season as the past is done! That makes Harry right imo!

I suppose I will get shot down by the old fans carping on about how much better we are now than back in the county / Kent league days and when we were last in the Ryman premier Is there a need for such a divisive comment, TA? Things were better in the County League days because we won the league more often.
