It would be entertaining to see what Wattie did to anyone who’d had a go at our Lion. Why, don't you like Trolley?

I thought we played OK today and deserved to win it. However, we never really took the game by the scruff of the neck in midfield and that nmeant that MP were always in the game. Our attacks out to the right were always slowed down when the ball went to Charley because he is not a winger and his lack of pace means he cannot take players on. Despite this he did hit the bar and win the penalty. We needed to mske out substitution earlier t allow Browny chance to take the midfield by the scruff og the neck Can't really disagree with any of that. Dan Parkinson had a pretty goog game but without a right winger often had no outlet and no option but to go backwards or square. Fabio needs to get some consistency. To go from motm to completely anonymous in less than a week isn't the way to keep his place ahead of Brown.

I thought the Met targeted the right back position as their main attacking option and we missed Rory on a massive scale yesterday.

Pah, Rory he is just an angry young man, upsetting Peter Hawkins at Salisbury may have not been at smart move, especially when your so called mate outs in you in the bar afterwards.

It would be entertaining to see what Wattie did to anyone who’d had a go at our Lion. Why, don't you like Trolley? On the contrary – top man. I didn’t actually agree with his assessment of yesterday’s game: for a team that’s been filleted by serious injuries, I thought we were unlucky. And as for substitutions that happened late or never, it’s not uncommon for recovering players to be put on the bench for emergencies only, in the absence of better alternatives - and drawing with the Mets is IMO not an emergency worth risking the loss of Brown or Philips for any longer. But Trolley has amber blood in his veins and is an example of loyalty to the Stones that others could learn from. I'd be sorry if he took umbrage at a Rory leg-pull that I couldn't resist tacking (irrelevantly) onto a lion-themed post on booing; having a moan is a different matter, which daveu addresses elsewhere on this site.

I broke the rules last night and posted on here when I was bloody well fed up, it still amazes me that we get 2000 people through the gates to watch the current dribble we serve up on a home game, yes we was unlucky yesterday, yes we could have come away with a one nil, but in my opinion which in the grand scheme of things counts for bugger all, we show far to much respect for the opposition, from Jays pre match blog thing, they are well organised, difficult to beat and it will be tough etc, to the agonising wait to see if we are going to change things when they get back on level terms, and just giving Brown 5 mins was just stupid in my opinion, for goodness sake we are at home at least try and take the game to the opposition even though they have 8 big blokes constantly behind the ball, after 18 months or so you would have thought we would have come up with a plan B before now, as for getting the hump over a bit message board leg pulling" Ill see you outside pal"
