Let me be the first to say what a top idea the new pie shop is. Chicken Balti was top notch .

To mask my disappointment with the game I went for the meal deal, which was Steak and Ale Pie with Chips, Mushy Peas and Gravy, £4.50, bloody lovely

Yep totally agree - puts the burger van to shame that's for sure! Only had a sausage roll today, was very yummy, but might push the boat out next Saturday and have a pie. well done to whoever got that sorted :-)

Difficult decision between mystery meat burger and a pie with nice chunks of real steak in it. Not...
Best pies in Kent now provide even more reason to go to the best attended home matches in the league. Nice one pie-man.

I was disappointed when I went to the Spitfire lounge the other day to be informed that they were no longer doing the "pie & pint", which I had been looking forward to... and for a fiver, it was good value for the money... however I would like to say that the new venture which has taken over is first class, clean and all the food available is very nice. The staff are friendly and well presented, it does make a change from the greasy usual burgers... Well done !!Keep it up !!

Still not tried yet, i saw it had quite a queue yesterday when i walked passed, I had to opt for the burger van (first time i had eaten at the GS this season) £5 for a coffee and a bacon cheeseburger! I will be in the line for the pie shop next time!

But I couldn't be arsed...

Definitely puts the burgers to shame. Really enjoyed my Steak and Ale pie Saturday and will probably go for the meal deal next time.
