As it happens I thought we played quite well, we had to be patient and for a while I was worried we weren't going to get that vital breakthrough, but there was little doubt we deserved the 3 points. In terms of MOM I think it is difficult to single any player out but I actually thought as much as nobody really stood out, for me it was more than pleasing to see Richard Rose come in and look as though he had played for us for some time. The NLP gives MOM to Jack Sullivan. Jack Harris came on showed some good touches but the player I think is growing in confidence is Fabio. Sadly he will probably always be judged on the times he gives the ball away, but actually he plays a lot of defence splitting balls that create chances. He scored the second yesterday, and played the ball in for the third. Against Lowestoft he played the forward pass to Frannie that lead to the opening goal. Massive massive game next week, I imagine Richard Rose will replace Jack Sullivan at right back as I'm of the opinion we need an experienced defender to deal with the huge threat of Tom Pett on Wealdstone's left wing. For now we are top of the league and haven't conceded a goal in the league since Harrow at home. Absolutely spot on about Fabio. Great to see him starting to make an impact. He's had to wait his turn so far with Brown and Phillips as first choice, but seems to be getting used to his new surroundings. The younger players often need a bit more time to adjust, but I think Alex Brown is a good example for Fabio. He's come on leaps and bounds over time and is playing his best football for us this season.

Another good performance on Saturday. We stuck to the task and were finally rewarded. I thought new signing Jack Harris did ok despite a miskick when he should of scored. He will do ok when he finds his feet.

Very happy with the result and the way we played, if that 1st half goal hadn't been disallowed we would have won the game with more than the 3 goals we scored, not sure why people are worried about Frannie, I thought he did ok and if I'm not wrong set up the 2nd goal, got to remember that teams will always step up when they come to Gallaghers

I worry as he is a goalscorer who isn't scoring.

Yes but his all round support play is very good and regardless of the fact he may not be scoring, he is assisting his colleagues, who in turn are scoring

Toonarmy,
More worried that :
1) His lack of goals lately may be effecting his confidence. 2) He is carrying an injury that he is not disclosing to the coaches.
I do appreciate all the other very very godd things he does for the team.

I worry as he is a goalscorer who isn't scoring. Ok, this is a striker that scored 8 in 8 preseason and 15 in 18 in the proper stuff! He hasn't scored in 4; it's hardly a drought is it? Let's not panic yet!

In fact there is no reason to panic at all, he is contributing to the overall team performance and the team is scoring goals, lets not look for problems that aren't there

Just a shame there seem to be a few who want us to annihilate teams every week and have a bloody good moan when we don't. Some people forget that there are 11 players out there every game who are not going to let us have things all our own way.

The goals Frannie's scored already and he's in a dip because he hasn't scored in a few...utter nonsense. From what I remember on Saturday he did great in making a goal for Rory pretty much on his own and worked their keeper with a rasper when one on one. Should also point out that Frannie usually likes to take the free kicks near the edge of the box, but thought clever and let Fabios left foot do the business from a better angle instead. I'm just pleased we've got not only a great goal getter but one who puts in the work for the wider team as well.

I think Frannie's decided to stop scoring 'cos he's so embarrassed and pissed off with hearing "choo choo choo"
