We only got worgs cos he was done drink driving so he couldn't get to angels games as easy as he lives in the stone. Fran was on £900 a week at angels. Dan Stubbs was on £150 a week and left because he wasn't offered £200 as promised, only £175 I can 100% assure you Fran was not on £900 at Tonbridge. I am positive lol. Wonder how stonefan2013 and adz84 can have such conflicting views. 100% assurance from stonefan2013...is that you Frannie!!!??

The fact that he doesn't seem to be playing anywhere else seems to confirm this.

Personally I thought Dan was decent and think most would have had him in the squad when the season finished. Having said that if he turned down the chance to play in front of 2k every other week for the sake of 25 quid that's his loss and IMO was a very silly decision. Playing for Maidstone at home on a Saturday is as close to being a pro baller as you can get without being one anywhere in the country. I'm sure all our players appreciate how lucky they are to be around the club at this time and the potential opportunities it affords them to further their careers. Shame the 25 quid mattered more to Mr Stubbs, but each to their own.

The point is if you want to pay Dan Stubbs £200 per week take ownership of a team and pay him what he wants.

Not that I should pay a player's wages.

Can I be totally honest, I don't care what the players earn, the club have a sensible pay structure and won't bankrupt the club by paying saying silly money, I think it's appalling somebody comes on here saying we have certain players because of something that may or may not have happened in their personal life

I think the best thing about the whole wage thing is that in all likelihood it is more than covered by match attendance alone. Few clubs at any level can say that
