I have been told that there should be another quiz just after the new year, not quite sure if it will be a footie or general knowledge quiz, but it was a bloody good night

We're trying to gather people's thoughts on the next quiz, what do people want it to be about?
As Frank says, New Year looks likely - one for christmas would be nice but getting hold of the Spitfire and enough people being available would be an issue
I personally think I've got another football quiz or two in me, but other committee members are thinking General Knowledge is the way to go for the next one. What would be your preference?

As good as the football quiz was, i think a General Knowledge one will attract a bigger crowd.

It would, but would also mean a £250+ fee to hire the Spitfire

Location was discussed last time. ..Spitfire had the advantage of the club (eventually) having a microphone that (eventually) worked

What about the Hare and Hounds if the Spitfire lounge is too costly

Would be perfect but The Hare's layout isn't ideal, the bar being in the middle. Would need somewhere more "open plan". Maybe Uncle Albert could have a word with Bearsted club...or Jimmy with Tovil WMC. All ideas welcomed and only shot down if they're rubbish The Spitfire has to be the preferred option: the club have been accommodating enough but the Spitfire lounge is a business that does well at weekends, so I would imagine the only way we could get a Friday night would be at very short notice if it has not been booked up. How about a Saturday morning before a game?! You said you like a nice meal beforehand and apparently the pies in there are good!
