Hello all from a Kingstonian fan. Looking forward to Saturday's game as it should be a close one (if both teams turn up, that is). Glad to see you playing at this level - have seen many a K's v Maidstone game but none in the town of Maidstone, so looking forward to a day out in your fine town.
There's a group of us planning on heading down fairly early on Saturday - any particular watering holes you locals suggest we should try? I've been told to finish a crawl in the Flower Pot (it being so near the ground), but any others around town you recommend?
Will be sure to have a couple in the ground so your club coffers don't miss out...any advice appreciated.
(Apologies to mods if this thread's in the wrong place)

Out of all the above I think the Queen Anne is probably the best, great selection of Ales and a very mixed clientele, lively little boozer, worth a visit.

I think they do a wide selection of ginger beers by all accounts

Another for the Queen Anne.
You can usually get some delicious salty nuts if you ask them at the bar.

The joke's funny...because it's a gay-friendly pub!!! Ginger beers! That means queers - geddit? And salty nuts - because it's a snack...and something else as well - geddit?
Thanks to all 8 of you who made the same joke, my sides have just split. Anyone on here got any original material?

I would start off in The Flower Pot ... and stay there until the game.

don't worry thekingstonroadend, a lot of us on here are still trying to come to terms with Mondays defeat and performance and so the "material" being used to try and turn the frown upside down is the best we can offer.
Agree with stonedlove though, The Flower Pot is a good bet, but I'd aim to get in the ground before 2:30 in order to get your pre-match beer and find a decent place to stand.
There will probably be close to 2,000 again, and I'm looking forward to it.
p.s. surely you've got to concede a goal at some point !

I was being serious about the ginger beer, they have all the different varieties from Crabbie's, hopefully your sides heal in time for Saturday
