I don't recall them being in charge virtually the whole of the 1st half? I think they deserved to equalise, but only because it was an even first half with chances for both sides.
We had a number of penalty appeals turned down, Orlando appeared to be brought down in the box on a number of occasions.
As for the penalty that was awarded, it all seemed a little messy and almost as though Watt was bundled into their player......although if it was offside then none of that matters.
I'm sure I'd be disappointed if it happened to us but fair play to the lino who held his ground, it was also quite refreshing to see the ref consult his linesman.
If the situation was reversed and the ref didn't give the penalty but the linesman stood there with his flag across his chest (signal for a pen) would the Billericay manager prefer the ref ignored the lino in that situation?
Bring on the highlights !

Can only assume he means the one that Sully cleared - unfortunately for me and my hooligan friends in the left side Springfield end, the vantage point of the goal line is not great so I shall await MUFCTV coverage with interest

Second half we were fantastic, however there are aspects that need addressing. Sobbers needs to be a little more assured at the back, Flisher doesn't seem to be firing on all cylinders just yet, and Orlando needs to work on his final delivery into the box. That aside, we seem to be playing lovely footy when we knock it around on the deck, once the ball gets hoofed around in the air we seem to loose control of games.

Gotta say I thought 'Ricky should have had a penalty earlier in the game, the ball quite clearly coming off of Sobers' shoulder.
Not sure I agree with their managers comments on the referee, I thought he showed a lot of bottle to go and talk to the lino then award us a free-kick in the face of some serious abuse by both Bill & Ricky!

Bring on the highlights ! Agree we had at least one pretty decent penalty shout ourselves so that probably evens itself out although as theirs was right at the end they probably feel more aggrieved! Felt the ref missed a lot of quite cynical pushing & shoving of our players by them when going up for headers. They seemed to get away with that all night.

Yet again another entertaining game to watch, which see two teams playing different styles, o thought they were direct, and as people have said plenty of crosses to there big 9 to get on the end of. I thought the football we played in the second half was a joy to watch, shame we just could get a few more in the net, Phillips and brown were excellent for me along with Collin and booth and orlando who may be inconsistent but dangerous every time he got the ball, all in a good performance along with a bit manic defending at the end, 3 pts thank you coys!!!

Yet another great game, I thought the start of the 2nd half was brilliant and we could have been out of sight but for the fact there keeper and defenders somehow stood up to the constant pressure, I was at the Springfield and can confirm the linesman put his flag straight up before the ref pointed to the spot, it was reassuring to see the ref take the difficult decision and award the decision in our favour, I can understand the Billericay fans displeasure at the penalty that never was as they didn't see the linesman flag go up prior to the decision and it was in all honesty a clear penalty decision
My man of the match was the linesman

I do think we got away with a possible handball and I couldn't see what happened at the end but I got a pretty good view of the shove on Stevie Watt that pushed him under the ball for their equaliser. Was it just me, or did our best spell in the match come at the start of the second half when Flish and Orlando had swapped wings? I wonder why they swapped back again after we scored!

Nobody has said a dickie bird about poor old Worgan between the sticks! He took a right old battering especially second half and was getting a lot of stick from Bill n Ricky behind the goal I thought the ref was gonna bottle it at the end but great credit to him and the rest of the officials for making the correct decision. The promoted teams seem to be doing alright in this league so far.

Nobody has said a dickie bird about poor old Worgan between the sticks! While I thought Ibrahim got a bit too much flak from some fans, it has certainly made a difference in confidence (for the team too presumably) having Worgan in goal. He has performed brilliantly in every match (forgetting his little Pat Mullin moment in Calais), perhaps we are getting blasé!
