Seems the 3g may be the least of our worries.
Just had a scout through the ground grading for conference south and we need:
6 turnstiles that can be segregated as necessary.
Covered seating of a permanent nature 500 minimum ( I believe the main stand is the high 400's)
A capacity of 3000 with the ability to extend to 4000 (makes the current capacity the club got lumbered with a touch frustrating)
Seems serious extra cash will need to be found in yet another as yet undiscovered piggy bank for that lot.
Hope the club can find it and get the green light for the 3g in enough time to carry all that out!

If at the end of that time we still don't have the required grade we will be relegated.

Very true Dave but thats still a fare wedge of cash that needs to be found which would have been lower and therefore easier on the club if the capacity hadnt been reduced so much from 3,000 and ideally you would want to do the work closed season as you wouldn't want a reduced capacity while the work were in progress

Not trying to be a downer just a bummer for the owners given how much has already been shelled out!

Nah, the real issue is still the 3G.
Not too difficult to put in extra turnstiles at the two extra exit points, not too difficult to buy in some of that pre-made terracing with seats either.
What I would be really excited about is to see the plans for permanent ground expansion featuring the two tiered ends and how we will overcome the restrictions for development on the riverside.

How about we get to January before getting carried away. Tonight showed how tough this league is, a team got beaten by 4 goals on Saturday gave us a real run for our money tonight.

It was a just supposing. Totally agree that we shouldnt get carried away The season is a hell of a long one and personally think we would have a perfectly good season if we finished just outside the playoffs dont have to fly up the leagues like a rocket

There are plans afoot should this happen. Turnstiles will not be able to go at gate C due to the stairs. There are other options along the river side which would go into the library end. We can extend quite a lot further than would seem viable at the moment.

Staines Town only 300 seating. Whitehawk have got to get some work done then this season with only a capacity of 2000!

I was under the belief that a reason for the restricted capacity was the lack of turnstiles and exits, so surely putting these in when necessary would alleviate much of the potential problems.
As for Carshalton, they had five first teamers out when they lost at the weekend so possibly aren't as bad as that result suggested
