regardless, we are screaming out for another striker at the moment. Collin and King up front....I wouldn't turn that down

Yes we do need another striker. King could not cut it at a bigger club, he is better being somewhere like folkestone. King at Folkestone = their top player, King at Maidstone = top 14 = why he got the hump, stoppy and miserable. He couldnt prove himelf at a bigger club so let him be happy at the level he is at now

So our academy boys (and a couple of 1st team players) beat a team who we have always struggled against (and they had a pretty strong team out) and we focus on an ex player?
However, whilst I agree his body language and attitude was questionable, Stuart King is without doubt one of the most gifted players we have had in recent years. In the short time he was with us, he scored some great goals, but my memory of him will always been the "move" against Tooting.....which he started, and brought Mills and Flisher into play, and unfortunately couldn't quite finish.
For one reason or another he just didn't want to play for us, and didn't buy into the squad rotation......he is back where he wants to be and I for one hope he scores a mountain of goals in the coming season.
Perhaps we just need to accept that not all players want to play for us
