Has been given 2 match ban at the start of the season following his reaction to being sent off against Folkestone last season. I wasn't at that game so don't know if it was bad or not. Did anyone see it?

What an absolute joke why has it taken them so long to deal with this so called incident, the game was on the 5th March. I thought the original decision was harsh and if they are punishing players for being shocked at poor decisions there will be loads of retro punishments being handed out

So maybe good news (even though he got injured in playoffs)

The incident is at 4.24 on MUFCtv (5/3/13) - the ref thought Watt had stamped on the Folkestone player, but he's not Australian! It was clear that he got his foot caught up as he tried to get away, and the ref was only inches away. Watt's reaction was somewhat more subdued than that of the crowd!

Yeah shocking decision, this incident took place almost 4 months ago, why does it take so long? Hopefully the standard of refereeing will be better as we go up the leagues, want to be talking about the football rather than someone trying to hog the limelight in front of the large crowd.

Shows what a joke FA discipline is....
Makes North Korea look fair just and democratic
Note no punishment for the so called "referee" for his appalling part in all this

The sending off was a poor decision, and he's already served the supension for that. I have no idea what he said to the ref, but he admitted the charge. Players have to learn that you can't confront the ref no matter how poor the decision. All he achieved was to needlessly earn himself an extra two match ban.
On a related topic, I see that Jim Ward has threatened to offload any Sittingbourne player who gets sent off for dissent, in an effort to improve their disciplinary record.

I wonder if that applies to his management team?

Having looked at this I agree the sending off was harsh but unfortunately the reaction by Steve in going face to face ( although he had to bend down a bit) with the ref looks bad on the video, regardless of what he said
