Feel like I went ten rounds with Frank Bruno lol. Great occasion, thanks to all the directors and Bryan for getting this on. I manage about 15+ miles running per week and was under the illusion that I'd be ok, my fruitless efforts to try and keep up with Jay and Jim Bodle second half have resulted in a painful calf injury. But you know what, I wouldn't swap the day for anything. Great team spirit from the supporters team, and nice to put some faces to the names on here. See you all for whats going to be a great season. Would have to agree signalstone I run 3-4 times a week and thought I would be ok, feeling it a bit this morning and my right ankle is rather sore and twice the size of my left one, still looking forward to next year and doing it all again, well done to Matt at centreback, Chris who scored our goal and last but by no means least our 2 goalkeepers who were immense and kept us in the games, considering that was the 1st time we played I thought we did bloody well, congratulations to everybody involved on both teams

I can hardly move this morning, though I suspect there are some who thought I could hardly move last night as well... What a great time I had. Thanks to Terry, Oliver and Bill, thanks to Bryan, thanks to all the guys playing and thanks to all those who turned up to watch - it was a bigger crowd than most Ryman games get, lol. I'm nigh on 55, so feeling 15 in my head again was a rare experience

I'm going to gloat and say I feel rather good this morning. I have a niggle in my knee but that's ongoing and I have had large chunks of cartlidge removed and was told not to run by the consultants.
It was a cracking game and I am amazed at how seriously some people on the directors side were actually taking it. Yes we all want to win but it was funny to watch some of the reactions! Big pat on the back to the 2 keepers. in my opinion they prevented an absolute rout.
Ant you need to put in some major work to improve your fitness.
It was also an absolute honour to lead the team out as well. Made my day!

We had to let you lead team out JT, god alone knows how much "welshism, gingerism, racism, policism" accusations you'd have thrown at me otherwise Can only echo what everyone is saying; a great night out and thanks to all the "iMUSC FC" players for giving it their all and a huge thanks to Bill, Terry and especially Oliver (who came up with the idea in the first place) for making this event happen.

That would explain a lot. The picture in the centre circle consisted of 2 gingers, me being the only sex god, and the w***er in the black

Well, a trifle stiff this morning(ho ho!)...but nowhere as bad as imagined! Very impressed a bunch of tubby oldish geezers that had never met could actually still play a bit and not disgrace themselves! It was actually a pleasure to grace the plastic and with players like 'keeper Si, Rootsy and even Trolley you may still get a call up from Jay!!!

Very deserved MoM espcially for tackle on Tyke Harvey which left him very annoyed and explaining rather too much that you should have gone as last man.

If the ref were any good he'd have sent Tyke off for wearing his shorts so high.

This was the cause of uproar in the visitor's dugout, the ref bottled it and should've sent Harvey off. This, coupled with the offside/penalty for claiming the ball in the first half only enhances my suspicions of foul play.

Big thanks to everyone involved last night, thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Got a left knee now reminding me why I don't play football anymore (or was it total lack of pace and ability)
