I am sure Jay is already looking at a top striker but interestingly Byron Walker has announced he has left Herne Bay

Before deciding, no doubt Jay will wish to consult with his Herne Bay scout. Is Byron Walker the player to fill the gap left by Ade, nws?

Based on what I've seen of him, I would say Maidstone should buy him. He isn't really an out and out striker though. He is more of a winger/ attacking midfielder. From the 2 games against Faversham, he didn't get a look in at Winch's field but caused real problem at Salters Lane. Also, after Herne Bay's FA Vase run, he had quite an extensive trial at Oldham (which I guess means they were fairly serious about signing him)
