Really deserved to win this game. Changed totally in the Second Half when Rory came on and we played with 2 wide players. Controlled the game and took our chances. As always Micky Phillips was outstanding and Steven Watt really commanding at the back.

1st half absolutley appalling and deserved to be 1-0 down, 2nd half seemed a bit more with the game, i agree the introduction of Rory Hill seemed to galvanise the team and we looked a far more attacking force than the 1st half, still i was more than happy to come away with 3 points because in all honesty after the 1st half performance i was praying for a draw especially with Dulwich getting beaten away at Eastbourne, i still believe this is our league to win or throw away, now we can concentrate on Tuesday nights must win game

Very good win, we looked in control when Rory came on. Credit to Jay for making the change when it looked like the second half was going the same way as the first. Tim's eyes were about to pop out of his head when he had that header into an empty net. Thought the lads worked very hard second half, led by a fired up Phillips, and hopefully the lads can take some confidence from this game. Wasn't pretty at times , but they got the job done

You got to say the first half was one of the worse performance of the season no movement poor passing too much long ball Bay are a poor side but we made them look good. Second half we were a yard quicker allthough are short passing and movement was still poor our workrate made up for this and when Rory came on the side looked so better balanced and in the end we were in full control and deserved the win.. My motm Steve Watt a class center back..

pleased for jay and the boys, after a good start when we could have been 2 up inside 10 mins thought bay bossed the rest of the half but for all the pressure they had didnt think derren had too much to do. second half we got a grip of there midfield and deserved to go on and win the game. pleased for the fans who made the trip keep the faith coys

The addition of Rory the Lion certainly helped bring some balance to things. However, I do think that, as a team, Stones came out second half with something that seems to have been lacking of late. Desire to win. We really started to battle and fight. There were a few tasty challenges going in and players like Phillips, Welford, Watt etc could be seen visibly berating the ref, at length, for poor decisions and standing up to opposition players. We really wanted those points second half because we knew that a loss could really help Dulwich (if they won - which they didn't). On the terrace this had a real effect and the volume level went up.
While I don't think we are back to the free-flowing passing of earlier in the season we do seem to have discovered desire again.

the desire to win has always been there, sometimes it doesnt show but its there. The boys played well on a difficult pitch and our passing game in the second half was much improved.

He's always been a favourite ref, at least in provoking a reaction! I had to miss the match in order to freeze up country.
