Stranger than fiction, maybe, but I've come across some more by philosopher Daniel Dennett on a subject dear to all our hearts. It reads, "Shakey is a paradigmatic zombie. When he 'reports' an internal state, this is not a conscious state that is being reported, since Shakey has no conscious states, but an unconscious state that merely causes him to go into some further unconscious state that directs the process of generating and executing a so-called speech act composed of 'canned' formulae." I read this while enjoying a nice glass of Chateauneuf du Pape.

.......and I suggest you stick with the Chateauneuf du Pape ( although don't you find it a bit heavy going, maybe a South East Australian Red is better ).
