Interesting stuff. If 3G has been accepted in the Aviva, it is a big step forward in its acceptance. If it is received positively by the players, it can't be long before the Conf & Football League need to look at it seriously.
I think the real issue with the snow is the fact that Sarry's are a very well-funded club and can afford covers and the right machinery to clear the pitch. I bet that's £40K's worth of kit, so understandable why we haven't invested.

all good but one question... looking at the saracens picture they have a large arear around the pitch where the snow can be pushed to, so the main playing area is clear, where would the snow be put if we cleared ours the same way? ?

There is also talk of replacing the pitch at the millennium stadium with 3g, there only concern is the damage that may occur when they have concerts

snow got dumped down the bank at back of car park. mr toon, i believe its the norm to put ply boards down for concerts on grass at stadiums, i may be wrong. enjoy eastenders mate.
