Lucky to get away with that as we could have been 0 - 4 down at one stage.
Ade O looked hungry when he came on - so which strikers do we start with in the next game ?
Certain Stones ought to look at the level of their performances.

Very poor 1st half, 2nd half much improved when Ade came on, I still think King will come good he just needs some service. Warren didn't look too good hobbling round the pitch on his way to the changing rooms in the 2nd half.

I suspect that was just a smokescreen, as he played an awful game, could hardly do anything right today. Of course Jay could have given him a kick when he took him off!

Dulwich won 2 - 0 at Folkestone, so we're 3 points behind Dulwich with a game in hand.
Next Saturday is building up to be a belter !

Agree 1st half was very poor, we have a great pitch, why don`t we use it a bit more often.Seemed a lot of balls were just hit across the box, players there or not.Had there number 9 tapped in that open goal it would have been a different end result. All in all a good point against a well deserving CDG team. The two lads making their debut`s i thought played really well and did`nt look lost in amongst their new team. Excellent turn out again on a very cold afternoon.

CDG played with such pace in attack they deserve to be a playoff team.

Very lucky not to be 4-0 down indeed. They were a real handful going forward, we were piss poor at the back. Seemed like we had no midfield. They should of killed the game off but that's football.
Keep Welford and King up top. Simple for me. King WILL come good. He looked very disappointed after the game and it was nice to see a couple of fans get his attention and tell him to keep going and that he will come good. He stuck his thumb up and smiled.
Massive game against Dulwich. Cant wait for that. COYS

A fair bit of luck today indeed we should have been four down our defense was a shamble today we looked far slower then C.D.G we held our line far to high. Second half we did step up a gear keeping the ball much better taking the presser of our fragile back four. Iam well pleased for Ade his workrate was amazing never stop running and chasing for one second there defense hated it unlike Stuart who seemed to be waiting for some thing to happen new lad Ben looked a very decent player an old fashion type winger. My motm is Shaun Welford the center of everything...

my mom was Addy Olorunda, two reasons that individually would have won it. First up two super goals against a very tight well organised defence (probably consentrating on King & Welford). second is the boost to the attacking belief. Thought Josh Hare and Ben Greenhalgh did well for their debut and I rank their performance with that of shaun, stuart and derren.

Kingy did look more involved today couple of half chances but he did put the work in today he's trying and I think that given a bit more game time to settle in he could be the difference between first place and second if he finds his shooting boots. The Lino at town end second half was rubbish missed at least 4 things but can't blame him for the display from the stones first half performance. Looking forward to burgess hill if we can get back to winning ways and get on a run beating dulwich is a must.

First half we were abysmal, while they played the quick pass and move football that OUR pitch is ideal for, we still continue to launch the ball from deep looking for the head of Welford, will we ever start playing a touch and move game? I doubt it.. Thought that the two new guys done really well, the full back can pass the ball with both feet, and in the 2nd half the winger was everywhere and certainly brought the game to life when he got the ball.. The only real down point for me outside of the game is all the points that we have dropped from the 3 games in hand that we had..

Didn't Shaun had his best game for us in my opinion. King looked a lot better and on another day could have had a goal or two. Think it was a point gained today and if we need to cheer ourselves up we can look at the fact we had 400 more at GS today than Dartford had for their FA trophy game against Bromley.
Halifax swept aside Chelmsford 3-0 making our injury time defeat even more respectable.
Whitehawk haven't lost since we beat them and we have only lost once in 20 league games, sure we are dropping points but we are still in there and there is a lot of football to be played.

Definitely a point gained. We should have been 4 down before we scored. The defence was abysmal today, really miss Nick Humphrey and Tommy O. If Humphrey is going to be out for a while, we should look to bring in a vocal center half.
Also, midfield was poor. Mickey Phillips was a real miss, and sounds like he will be out for a few weeks.
Thought the new lads did well , think we could do with Tuesday being off, as we need a break.
Anyone know what's happening with Alex Brown ? I assume he wont be back.
Dulwich are on a great run.. we just need to hang on in.. COYS
