I would be surprised if he did move, he is captain of the team and plays in front of big crowds at home, the only reason would be money but i again would be surprised if Hythe could pay more than us.

would be surprised if Hythe could pay more than us. You'd be surprised what the can afford whilst they still have their FA Cup money sloshing about. Though like everyone else I still think its a case of them playing silly buggers before the game.

Bearing in mind he turned down more money from Whitehawk in the summer I can't see this happening...but as Jay says, you never know.
Good news re Flish and Davo

Maybe we should bid for their striker David Cook just to bugger them around lol

All I can say, is it would be a BIG shame, but IF he was to go, it would highlight that he wants to play for the money, not the badge, which isn't what playing for Maidstone United is all about.
However, I can't see him going anyway....unless the embarrassment of me seeing him in his boxers is still too much for him to take! ;D

I think the way he played and his effort against Sittingbourne is enough evidence to dismiss this

I for one would be gutted if he left, he is a very good captain and his performance against Sittingbourne proved just how important he is to the team by his all round support play....Hopefully tomorrow he shows how much he wants to stay at Maidstone by banging in a few goals and ending this nonsense story once and for all

Mr Welford was at the charity match last night. Let's just say that he thinks the whole thing is relatively funny.
