View AttachmentCan't get onboard with refunds for those who travelled but I don't think George is the man that will take us to the national league or higher Like honestly,ask yourself - if he left tomorrow would he get a better or worse job than Maidstone? I can't see it being a better one... |

I’m not keen on demonising individual players with unpleasant nicknames, all the time they’re pulling on a Maidstone United shirt. Normally I'd agree, but Ludicrous takes lack of talent and uselessness to whole new levels. I think he only actually touched the ball once. I have absolutely no idea what George sees in him. |

Well, we can't make the 5th round every season...
No shame today, they played well, and with a bit of luck, and a better ref, it could have been us going through to round two.
1-0 would have been a fair result, they were undeniably better than us. But the difference wasn't that great, and on another day it could have been 1-0 the other way round.
Overall their attack was better than ours and the combination of their excellent goalie and their no 5 bossing the defence (and us) made it even less likely than normal that we'd score.
But this has shown up, yet again, how weak we are up front. Blair just can't do it all on his own - he desperately needs a decent partner.
Until we solve this problem, we are going to struggle to reach the playoffs.

I did say I would have been very happy to see Ludo score, but he really doesn't offer anything to the team and we are effectively a man down whenever he is in the side. Thought James Alabi was poor, but this guy is worse.

Reminds be of that bit in the Mike Bassett, England Manager film, where the manager writes some names on a fag packet and they end up with Benson and Hedges playing for England! |

But as has been said, we need reinforcements up front.
Ludo is 100% not the answer.
George is looking to strengthen the team and hopefully he will find the right quality of players soon enough.
Probably another 3 will do the trick.
