Great point for the Stones. Happy with that.
I saw Grantham beat Newark 1-0 in the FA Cup. Poignant for me to see Grantham, as they were the away side for my first ever Stones game in 1976

Good away point. They’ll feel they’ve thrown it away but we had some half chances. Still not really sure why the goal was disallowed. They defo appealed for It though!! Anyone? Commentary suggests a hand ball, and that it took a while for the officials to decide what to do as Boreham complained. Awful club. Awful attitude. Certainly looked like a handball from where I was standing behind the goal, the Lino spotted it Benton finished it very well though

A deserved 1-1 draw for my points in the prediction league but should have been 2-1 to the Stones given the disallowed goal. Frantic finish with both teams having chances but an infinitely better Stones performance after Monday’s debacle. And Abbot Ale at £4.35/pint in the Pick and Shovel (thanks Sword for the recommendation). Reasonable day out all round especially given I could travel all the way on my 60+ (free) Oyster card. Glad you enjoyed the beer. At 09.00 I was on my way to the train station at 09.15 I twisted my knee/thigh and was struggling to walk so I decided to cut my losses and head home. If the coach had been running I would have braved the pain but alas not.☹

Before everyone gets excited about an away point can i remind you we have slipped to 18th in the table and 6 pts and 12 places behind the Mangles, this is not the place to be for a squad that is looking for promotion.

I couldn’t find Stones Live for love nor money…or did you get BW’s commentary? Boreham Wood refused to allow Stones Live to broadcast, normal service resumed from Tuesday.

So, we scored from a long throw in. Suspect the last time that happened was when a certain Alex Fisher was still playing! BW didn't look much of a threat, though (as happens so often), their goal looked decidedly soft. As in all the previous games, our biggest problem lies in not testing the keeper often enough - or even at all. We seemed to give Nathan Ashmore a bit more to do and he didn't look all that secure either, but what is it about our inability to hit the target? Shooting practice needs to be top of the agenda, especially when our three goals have come from two headers and a knee. That said, highlights suggest we were a lot better with our passing, while we also limited BW to half chances - Junior had nothing to save apart from the goal. So, signs of progress? Let's hope so, because we are only 3 points above the bottom four and a long way below the top.

I wouldn't personally pay BW for their own service. For reasons such as: One, Two, and Three.

Certainly looked like a handball from where I was standing behind the goal, the Lino spotted it Benton finished it very well though As stated, I was relying on digital communication. I wonder if it's on the highlights! Point remains, I feel that since we got the Raphe Brown mistaken identity overturned that we haven't had the rub of the green with 50/50's home or away.

And I seem to recall in our first spell in NS they wanted to charge StonesTV £150 to film there. Utterly vile club owned by a woman beater.

I have just looked at our league table/ I had expected to see Boreham Wood and Dorking at the top but they are both outside the playoffs at 8th and 9th and 4 points adrift of the surprise leaders Slough. Tonbridge are 5th
According the the chart on the Maidstone site Worthing have played all 5 of their games away from home. Anyone know why?
