Any rumours or news on Covolan? Or Jacob Berkeley Ageypingpong? Has Faal joined Oldham? If Faal does get in NL the final list of new clubs for our stars of last year we let go is quite impressive - especially if Lucas gets what he wants in EFL and Jacob gets a high NLS or even NL gig. However time is getting on for Lucas surely - maybe he will have to resort to going overseas now - back to Brazil? French third division? Surely only we are the only club in the UK lower leagues that leaves it until a last minute panic before getting a keeper?

I doubt that we alone left it late to sign a keeper. Woking, for example, have only Jaaskelainen and are said to be looking for a first-choice keeper. If Covolan is back in England perhaps he is on an extended trial somewhere, but his hopes of attracting a Championship club, even as a backup, look optimistic.
Whilst not a FA cup hero, has any more been seen of Nathan Jeche? He still seems to be without a club.

I’m sure they’ll each find a team. Two have their own complications.
Faal wants a local club and was on a wedge but is a very good player.
Covolan, we know wants league football but does he have the cv to back it up?
Jacob, I feel will get a decent move too.

Mo Faal has signed for Crawley Town
A very surprising move, I don't think anyone expected that

He has it in his locker to play at that level.
Interesting to see how it does.
They’ve had a proper clear out

Faal has signed a 6 month contract so perhaps Crawley are hedging their bet?

I guess the cup run has boosted their CVs somewhat to get these kinds of moves but it will be interesting to see how many of them do well.

Faal would have been back had he wanted to be and had we been able to afford it. He clearly wanted to play at a higher level or at the least a higher wage than we could offer him.

Faal had something like 100 goal involvements in 4 seasons, so really not surprised someone took a punt on him but League One is some jump! Joining ex-Stones currently in the league like Saidou Khan, Jack Powell, The Pig and Mitch Pinnock so shows the jump can be made successfully!

I dont think I have said Covolan was a George reject..................George took the ultimate gamble that Lucas would say yes and left it until after "meet the players" to find a goalkeeper who is also a TV personality (Groan) ...............Faal was a loanee and there is no evidence that George made him an offer to stay, in which case you could say he was a reject, but I dont know for sure. Maybe George didnt make him an offer as he knew he was after the big bucks. Such information sadly doesnt make it to fans anymore in this day and age - it all stays behind closed doors for fear of someone suing . Thats why we end up to speculating on forums like this.
