Inevitable, I suppose, but really sad.
Great player and just an all round nice bloke.
Every success for the future, Gavin, and thanks for everything.

Until this season, and perhaps last, one of our most consistent players.
Good clubman and seems a nice chap.
Good luck and thanks ☺️

What a fantastic player for the stones. always a 6/10 minimum when he played, dependable and had great availability for the first few seasons he was here.
Was always heartwarming to see his kids run on the pitch to celebrate with him at full time. A thoroughly decent bloke and absolutely a Stones Legend (you don’t play 150+ games and captain the club to a title without being one in my eyes)
No room for sentiment, injuries catching up and 34 in June. glad he gets a well deserved send off in front of a, near enough, full house.
Here’s to hoping that he can captain us to play off glory to cap a brilliant stint with us.

Won't be the same without that moment.

One of my favourite players. Rarely saw him have an off day.
Will be sad to see him go.
All the best Sir Gavin

A true sportsman in the Corinthian spirit and a superb athlete. Shame that his last year has been blighted by so many injuries. Hope he has good things to go on to, post football.

Sad time in any players career when they leave a club they’ve been a great servant of. Five seasons is a long time and Gavin’s been great for those five seasons. He gets to leave on a high and what a final season he’s had. Good luck Gavin whatever the future holds.

I watch a friendly at home a few years back- We were in the Genco for a change, im told it was Sheppey, but the game was going no where and Gavin got subbed on and scored in minutes. As JDL sais, 'Wont be the same without that moment'
