Will there be a coach running for this game?

Shades of 2016 about this fixture
I remember going there (Treyew Rd) twice that year, 16th April for the league match, which we won 1-3, and again a fortnight later for the play-off 2nd leg, winning 0-2, all of which lead to that momentous afternoon at Gravesend

It took me hours getting home from Gloucestershire🤪. I got home at 6am!

A weird stat - the home supporters actually have to travel further to get to this game than we do!
Gloucester have had a weird season all of their own - relegated already, but then playing hosts to the mighty 5th round FA Cup Stones twice.
And playing a pivotal role in the the play-offs of the NS, when they actually play (played) in the NN.

And talking of ground sharing and fixture congestion - as well as Truro apparently playing twice in TWO days this week (tomorrow and Thursday) - and us on Saturday, they are also playing a two home games next week, on the same days as Taunton! Presumably they can't both be playing at Gloucester at the same time...
Then there's Slough v Bath, and Weymouth v Yeovil - both of which have yet to be scheduled, with less than two weeks to go...

Tricky. I would imagine the arrangement will be similar to what they've been doing when Gloucester play at home on the same day. One kicks off at a later time, after the other game has finished.

Should be interesting, considering they're midweek evening games!

Taunton's home game against Slough tomorrow is scheduled to be played on their home pitch, Wordsworth Drive. Hopefully no more rain in Taunton for the next week or two. I assume Truro will continue their trek to Gloucester for their home games.

It is looking likely now for the Taunton / Slough game to go ahead in Taunton this evening. Parts of the pitch have been covered and there was due a pitch inspection this morning, I have not seen any indication that the fixture would be called off for the fifth time.

With all due respect to their fans, Taunton shouldn't have been allowed into the NS with that pitch. Not only has it caused ridiculous fixture congestion (when there has been no general problem with the weather, etc), it could easily have affected both promotion and relegation prospects. Far more serious than the capacity, the number of seats, and the accommodation for the referee and assistants! I'd even go so far as to suggest that 3G surfaces should be an admission requirement at this level. Let's see what the high-and-mighty EFL think of that...

Yeah, cos the EFL will be highly bothered by the inane ramblings of a johnny-cum-lately dinlow from Maidstone

What’s a dinlow? Not that I’m arguing the point.

What’s a dinlow? Not that I’m arguing the point. A dinlo(w) is a stupid person or stupid act and is more often spelt without the 'w'but nws is not a dinlo for doing so .
