Seem to remember Jay had little in the way of additional coaching staff when we first went into the NL - something club appear to have learned from. Essential even in the NS now. The only additional coach Jay had was the one he was driving the youth team in when he found out he'd been sacked...

The only additional coach Jay had was the one he was driving the youth team in when he found out he'd been sacked... Jay Saunders, when manager, asked for the sport science and equipment that the club now takes for granted,Terry Casey refused point blank to pay for it . Another costly lesson learnt.

Channeling my inner jdl (shudder) I decided to check my stats for this season. I’ve seen 18 Stones matches, home and away (not very good for a season ticket holder) and the result is: 12 wins, 3 draws, 3 losses (two home league defeats and Coventry). Which looks like a good season, so why do I feel a bit disappointed with our home displays? I think it’s because we have rarely demolished the opposition and 1 -0 seems to be our favourite score!

Very much like 2016 when Jay took us up through the payoffs. Very much a season built on solid defence.

Talking of ups and downs and Jay - Tonbridge are currently right in that 'sweet spot' where they are the only club that can't go up or down.
So let's hope hey relax and beat Chelmsford on Saturday!

Truro and Taunton give Dartford hope by losing.
Dorking lose and are virtually gone from the National League.

A shocker for you, headers, I've also seen 18. I'm back at 6.35 Saturday morning. I don't think I'll be heading to whichever ground Truro have decided to play us at. Plan to trot along on 20th

Pretty sure Dorking have only ever been promoted. Not sure about BW. Going to be tough for their fans to adjust.

Hope you are watching a good game. If I'd had this info prior to flying home, I'd have gone straight from Heathrow to our game today...JUST TO BE WINNING 19-18! EDIT: thankfully, I didn't read it

Dartford relegated. Ebbsfleet could be in trouble again. FGR lose 6-0 to Wrexham. Maidstone the only side in the top eight not to win.
