Matt Rush is he any good Works bloody hard. It’s tiring watching him! You’ll never question his attitude or effort. We didn’t really play to his strengths but almost all fans will say we are sad to see him go. Interested to see how good he will be in the NL. He isn’t the most clinical but then that’s why he is is playing at this level. I reckon you’ll be happy with him.

The team building goes on. Tbf George is assembling a very decent looking squad. Def like the look of Aaron Blair, a winnner. Still short on numbers so can't sleep easily yet. Surprised that so many of last season's squad have not signed up. An out and out striker still needed, not to mention a proper, full size keeper, plus another half dozen players. I think the small number of squad - for whatever reason - from last year that have stayed with us after such a great season will always be a mystery Jackster, but if they did have to go - for whatever reason - its good seeing them find (in my view) very good new homes in Scotland, Ireland, NL and NLS. Wish them all well. However, with the Aaron Blair signing the new squad is coming together nicely so (and I cant believe I of all people am saying this) maybe its time to stop looking back at last seasons squad and start embracing the new squad. ..................and we still have at least a couple of weeks before first friendly before panicking about having no keeper at all for that friendly - unless we use the Under 23 keeper for the early friendlies. Did I say a couple of weeks? Oh NO! PANIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent signing imho. I was 50/50 about him when he first signed but I thought he became more and more influential in games as the season closed maybe as he became more settled? We have a very strong squad for NS now taking shape imo (Obviously we need Covolan or another reliable GK to sign). Will be interesting to see what the bookies think when the odds come out but I'd be surprised if we're not first, second or third favourites.

Rule out 1st or 2nd favourites.
Reserved for Dorks and BW.
We should be found in 3-5 imo

So we have 16 outfield players signed. Add 2 'keepers then surely that's enough as some won't even make the bench. Quality not quantity please.

Midfield still looks quite light so another signing in that position is still required unless Harry will be moved into that position

Winger wise we are looking very light with just Fonkeu & Seaman, then we need 2 keepers and another centre midfielder.

Those two aforementioned on the right, kyp and Brookes on the left. Might see one more. But not worried about ‘wingers’
