We were very lucky to get him. Possible, but unlikely, he might have stayed if we'd gone up, but he's not going to play at NS level for another season.
But we've seen some cracking keepers at this level this season, so I'm sure George can replace him with someone just as good. And better to have a keeper who has willingly chosen us and wants to progress with us, rather than someone who just wants to keep match fit while he waits for a better option.

Hearsay going to charlton I heard that rumour awhile back, but I find it hard to believe. Why he will obviously get plenty of offers from national league teams and likely some League 2 will be interested, at nearly 33 years old signing for a team in League 1 who are expected to challenge at the top would be a real surprise. Charlton also already has 2 keepers under contract for next season. |

I'd go as far as saying that pretty much every player in the National and National North/South are all looking for EFL football next season. Getting it is another matter.

Yeah, him saying it changes nothing. If his agent can get him it, fair play. Personally I’d be surprised if anyone above L2 would bring him in as a starter |
