Following the furore over the Princess of Wales admission of digitally altering her family photograph, JDL has today issued a press release admitting that his Stones Forum avatar is, in fact, also digitally altered. He apologises both for this and for not admitting it earlier.
Keen-eyed readers of this forum may have noticed that the avatar in question has been slightly altered from the original image. It's not immediately obvious, but closer study of the image reveals that the original colours of black and 'amber' have been replaced by blue and yellow, in a kack-handed attempt to match the colours of the Ukrainian flag.
As one analyst commented this morning, "it looks like someone too tight-arsed to buy Photoshop, copied the MUFC logo into MS Paint and spent hours clumsily replacing the colours, pixel by pixel".
JDL was not available for further comment.
