So in three games we are playing our key play off rivals. We couldn’t be better than Bath and the mighty St Albans are snapping at our heels and then it’s Chelmsford who are better than us. Crunch time for our play off chances for sure. We needed to beat Bath. We HAVE to win on Saturday as I don’t think we will get much from Chelmsford. No points at all from the next two and we are struggling. Time is running out………….. COYS!

I think we should piss St Albans off by making it all cash on the day to get even for pissing me off at their ground for making it card only. To get into the playoffs we need to be scoring more goals as one or two a game is unlikely to be enough and i think we do have the players to do that but our reluctance to shoot more worries me as you can't keep walking the ball in at this level. Now that George has a new deal he should attack more and go for the kill whereas before signing his new 2 year deal he ha played things a little to safely. I have predicted 3-2 for Saturday as i think it'll be a fast flowing open game and enjoyable to watch for those in attendance alas i am still away so i won't be one of them. COYS!

Build the defence. Don’t concede goals and everything else will fall into place.

Could be again. There’s six home games left, only one of which (Welling) warrants segregation.
Remove the barrier completely, win a few games, and the finale to the season could be amazing.

Build the defence. Don’t concede goals and everything else will fall into place. Our defence is too unreliable.

Our last six homes are W3, D2, L1 - exactly the same as St Alban's last six away games. The goals tallies are very similar for both teams as well at slightly less than 2-1. Given that our away form is dismal at the moment, thes next two home games could make a big G difference to how we end the season. Be a shame not to make the play offs, but given there is currently no sign of any outside interest in the club, does it matter? Heart says yes, head says not really.

Play offs are exciting and will give us a few more games and given the FA cup run we may even win some of them. To not be in them at all would be disappointing and is a bit below our level. To win promotion through them may be a step too far but I’m sure we would take it and accept being the big underdogs in NL even if we are destined to yo-yo back down again. But with Big George able to make a silk purse from a sows ear who knows? But let’s beat St Allbran first and get something out of the Chelmsford game as to fail in either makes all my speculations pointless. COYS!
