Thought we played really well after the relief of getting the first goal, not having a ball player in midfield we looked disjointed. But a win is a win.. Listening to Jay's aftergame interview talking about extending Steve Watts loan until the end of the season, push the boat out Jay get him signed up for next season and make him captain!! superb on the ball, never panic's and always finds an outlet...

Thought we played it more on the deck lastnight, and we look so much better doing that. Steve Watt is a class above and if we get promoted we will need alot more players who have the calmness and skill to make the pass as he does instead of hoofing it!.. The ref?, I think he was the most bias ref I have seen in any sports, how does someone take a slap in the mouth and then get booked for it?.. Maybe he has a years supply of oysters coming his way..

A win, but more importantly play the style of play we started the season off with, since our style of play has changed we have been c**p

One word describes that performance DIRE!! 70mins until out 1st shot at goal, yes AT goal, not even on target, we had to wait a further 5mins for one ON target. Alex Brown so much better in the center, Flisher swopping wings? wheb you had a right midfield player on the bench.. MOTM? only one contender as far as i am concern, for the best central defence performance of the season Steve Watt. Although i cannot see him staying for a second month as he is not prone to booting the ball as far up field as possible, he plays the ball out of defence, such a joy to watch.. As has been said in earlier posts its playoffs for us, dropping home points is criminal,Dulwich has gained 4pts on us in a week and still kept their 3 games in hand.

Where to start, I was concerned at kick off with our line up, Danny Lye and Michael Phillips in central midfield meant we had absolutely no pace in the centre of the park, Flish had a good game as usual and I thought King also played well and his link up play is getting better, Welford had a strange sort of game and during the 1st half didn't get much change against there number 4, one final comment is we have a near perfect pitch yet we persist with lumping the ball forward at every opportunity instead of passing the ball around, we have the players. We now have to focus on Tuesdays game and get a result against Corinthian-Casuals Could not agree more toon I am not a fan of this 7-1-2 system that we seem to be playing either..

Totally confused..... We have lots of strikers, lots of defenders but who links up the two ends of the pitch ?? I don't understand it. I really enjoyed Ben's skill & really wish him well elsewhere ( unless he becomes a Mangle or moves to Thanet )......... Yes but when we hoof the ball up looking for the head of a striker with his back to goal, who needs a creative midfield player with ball control and passing skills playing on one of the best surfaces in non-league football? First half we were abysmal, while they played the quick pass and move football that OUR pitch is ideal for, we still continue to launch the ball from deep looking for the head of Welford, will we ever start playing a touch and move game? I doubt it.. Thought that the two new guys done really well, the full back can pass the ball with both feet, and in the 2nd half the winger was everywhere and certainly brought the game to life when he got the ball.. The only real down point for me outside of the game is all the points that we have dropped from the 3 games in hand that we had..

And Sky Sports News info bar! The Gills have shipped a few out by the looks of it. For me although I would love to see Alex Brown stay with us he should really be playing at a higher level. He is a class above. Was he a full time pro at Gills? Well if he stays with us , he will be playing at a higher level next year!, and if the Blue Sq get their ass into gear reguarding 3G also the year after..

I think that its a close call for the MOM between Draycott and Brown, Draycott's work rate was exellent, but Brown just shaded it for me, when he had the ball it always seemed that something might just happen. And on a personal basis, Whitely again is so much more effective on the right flank, I know he played left to accomodate Brown playing right midfield, but when he has to cut inside to cross with his right foot, he is just better getting to that right by-line..
