Yes, very nervous game for all concerned. We just need to stick together and support the boys with as much singing as we can, less of the groaning, they don't need that. My heart sunk when I saw Watts og, there was debate about the keeper not shouting etc, but only people behind that goal can comment on that. Such a relief to see the net bulge for our winner (no I didn't see the goal itself) and all the cheers. Give the boys credit they didn't give up. A special apology to Alex as I shouted out pretty loud "sort it out Flisher, come on!" only for him to score 5-10 mins later!! It certainly shut me up... Now, onwards and upwards to Three Bridges Saturday, the next 5 games is more than crucial with 3 points needed each time. WE CAN DO IT... COYS!!!! P.S Roystyboy - no harm came to me when you fell back on me on Saturday. Thanks for the pm anyway

Well, it does seem with my prediction of a 1856 attendance, and the actual figure being 1790, I may well have been closest... and saying for us to win 2-1, I may well be a winner on both! Proud moment of my life, I won't lie! ;D

Just to be pedantic "insider" it was 1-0... that's all You are correct though, yes, the 100's of us were the teams 12th man, it was a brilliant atmosphere. I thought we may have all jinxed it when not long after they scored, we were all singing the great escape, but thanks to Mr Ibrahim's superb penalty save that kept us in it, then Ade's equaliser, the great escape it really was! Fantastic evening.

Yeap, Miss Meerkat will be there, layered up to the eyeballs and gonna have a few as I'm not working Sunday, I canny wait! Still getting over last nights excitement, it was superb, a fantastic all-round performance from Maidstone United; from the fans, to the team and Jay Saunders. COYS

Game off tomorrow - there will be 5-10cm's of snow on the pitch that hasn't got a cover, but apart from that it's perfect....! ;D

There will be an inspection no doubt about it. Having looked on the ryman website they seem to have changed it to between hours rather than a set time, I'd say it will be between 10 and 11. The reserves are playing at the gs if anyone has nothing to do, be very surprised if our game goes ahead unfortunately

None of us might be going yet - all depends how much snow/rain they have had in Surrey this week!
Not to put a downer on it or anything....

(Sorry Grandad!) Had to beat Tim to it this time, if enough people want to go by train to this one (thinking of group saver) then me and the parents will, if not, we need to arrange a lift Here's the times... www.thetrainline.com/buytickets/combinedmatrix.aspx?Command=TimeTableNot decided on time to depart yet - for a pub beforehand, we'll have to get the 10:55 as it arrives in walton-on-thames 12:37.... otherwise we can get the next one and arrive at 13:24

My Dad is one of the lads that helped clear the snow this morning - he said they cleared all around the pitch, the steps leading up the VP area etc, and that Gallagher was down there with a digger doing the car park, and moving the snow away from the ground. Apparently, John Harvey, Bill and Terry were using plastic things to move snow off the pitch but they need to see what reaction the pitch has before removing anymore... fingers crossed for warmer weather to help thaw it. Finally, a big well done to all who helped out

Well it has risen and I'm sure that the owners will now look into this for next season and realise they made a mistake. 2(probably) games off over a snowy period because Terry, Bill and Oliver didn't invest in a cover/salt, it's not good enough is it really... Chill out guys (literally) snow happens... Much love
