Always the sign of a reasoned mind, one who can't express themselves without profanity. If I was like you I'd use an entirely different word to describe the tippy tap nonsense...but I'm not, so I didn't

The facility was built in arrogance....maybe a contagious arrogance? The elements are out of the control of even a chairman of Maidstone, so not sure how tippy tap pitches are relevant there. Playing on grassed pitch conditions is a part of football and one that represents the majority view.

Yes I have seen anti football played on these surfaces including the one at Maidstone...wouldn't feel placed to comment otherwise.... Of course those desperate to be associated with success will want to be attached to a team who has an unfair advantage, some people are like that. By all means use these nonsenses to improve skills as a training aid, but they are not for proper football and never will be. Play on proper grass and people wouldn't be having a go.

No, because they are world class and play on grass. There is a difference between not being tackled because you are too skilful and not being tackled because the defender can't afford leaving the skin off his leg behind.

I suppose it is too much to ask that people with allegiances will stick their necks out and admit this BUT......... Football is a grass based game in England Anti- football carpets offer an unfair advantage the hosts Tackling is a part of football and most people enjoy this aspect of it If you sign up to the rules of something, you cannot witter on about them later If you want to invent a new sport of tippy tap to replace football, do what the rugger buggers did and go ahead People tend not to like bullies or cry babies People have nothing against Maidstone, just tippy tap anti football and arrogance Even the best game of tippy tap will never match the thrill of a proper game
