Is Birchall on trial at Chatham Town then ?!? No ... The Old Bailey ... for taking our money under the false pretences of being a goal scorer!

To get back on topic, I've always observed that when players get their legs chopped from under them, or are running when somebody grabs a handful of their shirt they tend to fall to the floor Physics not cheating They all do that in Margate! ... That's why I don't let Kate get near me lol ... could damage me little stick of rock!

Are u aware that security caused the problems both this time and last time. What happened last time that meant the security caused someone to rip down a fence? We had one burger left that time and it caused a bit of a rush!

The problem is Frannie was an excellent player one level lower, but has disappointed at our current level! There is never a guarantee that a player can make the step up, and many unfortunately can,t! We have two more to try now ... let's hope at least one can make that step up, but I'll wait awhile before I get too excited. May just be that Frannie is still the better option of the three!

It's an interesting point as to whether we would accept ' gamesmanship ' to further the aims of MUFC. Or indeed if we already have. Look back to 2008 / 09 and 2010 / 11 when the excellent keeper Andy Walker took forever to take goal kicks ( & received yellows for his pains ) to try to waste time and preserve points & keep us in Ryman Premier - was that 'wrong' ? Or further back still, when certain robust MUFC Centre Backs would inflict severe off the ball pain on Kent League strikers to "impose" their will - that was ' a laugh ' right ? Be careful adopting / claiming the higher ground ? Have you not noticed how much time the ball stays in Worgan's hands when we are 1 - 0 up, with 20 minutes or less to play? Every time he catches the ball he hits the deck as if poleaxed by a phantom erm, phantom. He is our leader when it comes to time wasting, so much more effective than fiddling with the ball by the corner flag! Yep! .... just makes us look like bad losers IMO

Must agree with Jay now though .... that we are punching above our weight! Maybe promotion next year, but not quite there this season IMO. Second best again last night, even though they had five regulars missing, we will do well to finish near a play off place!

Yes, the lure of their 200-300 moaning fans might be their trump card in negotiations Possibly also the sandy beach? Dreamland and costa del ramgate. The multicultural Mecca of Kent Haha classic! ... and who couldn't say no to Floss on the beach, unless of course they had Kate!

Not only have the manager and assistant gone, it sounds like the club has left the club as well Wouldn't be the first manager to do a runner with the Cash!

For god sake
You have to go negative!
If I was a player reading that kind of swipe, I'd be wondering why, after a 9-5 day job, I actually bother.
They have to learn to deal with it. If you're a football player watched by thousands of fans, you know that at some point you will take some stick. I am amazed you really believe a joke comment like that about the fact we don't score many goals is going to hurt the players. Taking this sort of thing is part and parcel of the job, and let's be clear, regardless of whether they have day jobs they are still paid reasonably well to play for Maidstone United football club. That makes them professionals and so they have to cope with it the same way full-timer's do. Here is an interesting piece from Graham Taylor about coping with criticism in the professional game: www.fourfourtwo.com/performance/training/graham-taylor-coping-criticism#:eF4w-1IhDslwoA............... We don't live in a communist society, and this isn't a communist football club. No .... That would be the Reds!
