Good to hear from Oliver again. Sounds positive for next season. Backing for George. Possible early bird season ticket offer at a reduced price. I would be willing to put some money in the club in advance if it helps.
The only thing I would take issue with is police advice about away fans, which ties in with the final comments about the Gallagher experience. If you make it hard for away fans (paying customers) to even buy tickets, they’re going to be pissed off before they even arrive. There’s no excuse for it, particularly where we’re going.

I always enjoy listening to these podcasts, Oliver is very honest about things and a generally nice gent. Shame there are so many out there who think they know best and feel the need to bitch about our owners at any opportunity they get at the moment.

Interesting. Pretty much echoing what the happy clappers and myself have been saying all season.
Some good questions asked as well.

Good interview Steve well done .
Nice to see the panel asking more probing questions than the usual “not wanting to offend questions “
Well done to Oliver for taking the questions on also.
Good interview all round more of the same please !

Interesting. Pretty much echoing what the happy clappers and myself have been saying all season. Some good questions asked as well. I guess like me you're not happy being branded a happy clapper for supporting the owners. Would be fairer to come up with some derogatory term for those who want them out.

Proud to be a happy clapper. They FB would laugh but I went through the ups of the FL and the downs of Moonshot and trekking to Sittingbourne. I AM just happy I have a club to go and watch in my hometown, with my mates. I am happy with the stasis quo, I am nervous how new owners would run the club. I know there are limitations to what we can achieve but if we did achieve it we would have done it organically. The FB group makes for infuriating reading. Some of them just don’t realise the situation I don’t think. Glad Oliver referenced basically ignoring it.

Funny though how things evolve over a period of time. It wasn't that long ago that Oliver, Bill and Terry were lets just say not that comfortable with the general flavour, banter and criticisms to be found in this forum. I recall once being on the receiving end of a tirade from Bill cause he thought I was too often posting stuff he thought was negative. Nowadays the forum is an oasis of calm, tranquility and reasoned discussion compared to the rubbish so often found with the facebook group. I admit to being an occasional contributor on the group but it does try your patience a lot of the time.

Not listened yet, but sounds like Oliver has responded to criticism, so good. It is one thing to simply follow the club regardless, but you only have to look at the fall off in attendance (including the number of spaces in the main stand), to see that this season's problems (on and off the pitch) are costing big money. If, as suggested on the Notts County thread, core support is around 1500, then that pretty much dictates the budget. Anything above that is jam on bread, but by no means certain. Therefore any club needs to be doing all it can to bring more people in to boost income. Seems Oliver is at last acknowledging this, which is important. Attendances could improve next season because of prices and more local opposition, while beer sales will certainly go up, so better communication is essential to get more followers back. Die hard fans will nearly always turn up, but there are plenty of others who need bit more encouragement and this is what has been lacking this season.

As ever, interesting listening although, unless it passed me by, there was no actual explanation of why communication was so poor? There is a lot of truth in you can't tell everyone everything, and I don't think you can do much if a player immediately goes on social media, but the club seems slow on lots of issues.
Yet again, it's going to be an interesting season and I think there are signs that George has connections/ insight that has led to the signing of the likes of Bone and Shonibare, but there has to be an awful lot of incomings before the team is going to good enough to be in the play-off places at least.
