Nearly 1500 at Chatham today, I wonder how many of our glory hunters will turn up there next season I was thinking the exact same thing earlier

Chats are on a roll. Good riddance to the Glory Boys.
Mind you when Chats progress slows, you can just imagine their response.

Absolute joke. Manager who claims to be a motivator and portrays as a nice guy who loves the badge dropping players after alleging backing them, firing staff ab players callously - including a fans favourite - and yet completely unable to motivate a team which has his own signings in it to a draw let alone a win. Oh, not to mention the loanees he hasn’t even played but who warm the bench. Also he was a centre back and yet we have the most shambolic defence in the league. To top it all we have owners who wanted to sell up still in charge. The club is a shambles and the Clown days are well and truly back. That’s me done for this season and maybe next until something significant changes. In terms of communication to fans the club is either silent or double minded - saying one thing and doing another. I have lost total respect for the whole club. Hopefully next year George will have got his act together enough or we will have new owners so that it’s not a double drop with an average gate below 1000. Yes this is moan moan moan because it’s bad bad bad and Luque being dumped was the final straw. What has happened to my club? The bubble has burst matey and now we are no different from 500 other clubs in the pyramid system, take a step back, take a deep breath,be thankful we still have a club, and endeavour to persevere until the good times return, and they will, never doubt it.😁 This is it. We lost our club in the early 90s. In the mid-90s we looked poor then suddenly Jason Lillis breathed life into us etc etc. Since 1992 I've watched some poor times and some wonderful times. It will be ever thus in football.

We've had many more good times than bad during the past 10 years. Just pathetic than some supporters can't take the rough with the smooth. Perhaps they have only ever experienced a lengthy period of undiluted success in their personal and business lives ? I suspect not.

Some just seem to think it's easy to sell. The owners are being careful and I don't blame them at all, they have put a lot of time and money into the club, why should they lose out on too much? Or more importantly, ensuring the ground cannot be sold for flats to be built on, then we will all be off to Chatham!
Get this season over with and start again fresh next season, it can't be easy for the players or George at the moment.

There's a couple on the Facebook group who've known the bad times and probably been around longer the me, who are starting to throw their toys out of the pram.

Shit happens. They will get over it or get out. Exactly what I said to them. One of them has hardly been at the Gallagher this season anyway, and since his other club is QPR it's not surprising he's a bit pissed off.

Currently, I cling on to the idea that George is testing various ideas for next season. If so, I hope he has learned that Bivesh is not a defender after watching the lowlights. Indeed, did we have ANY defenders on Saturday? BW seemed to pick us off at will - wait for us to push forward, then a simple long ball over the top for a forward to run on to. With a bit more intent, they could have racked up double figures easily. Meanwhile, YouTube offered the option of Dartford v Dulwich highlights, with Hak's new team offering ever greater ineptitude. On a positive(?) note, the standard of play in the NLS seems well below the current NL, so there is no reason (?) why we shouldn't compete next season. George needs to not only find the right players, he needs to develop a system. BWs one looks pretty effective - if in doubt, put the ball in the next county and regroup.

Mersin in goal. That’ll trigger the usual suspects. Can’t do any worse than Hadler against Bromley. Or can he? I wanted george to get the managers job for many reasons. BUT to support hadler then drop him for the next game ? And mersin standing between the posts, he's definitely not in goal, well how can we get worse??? In league games this season Mersin has conceded an average of 2.61 goals per game, Hadler has conceded 3.00 so of the two Mersin has the better record, but that doesn't fit in with some of our fans who think that as Hadler is willing to jump up and down and have a sing and dance with them that it makes he a better choice as keeper. Boreham Wood had about 6/7 one of ones with the keeper, we could've had Ederson, Alisson etc in goal and we still would have conceded 3-4 goals, our defence has been so inept this season that teams have had field days against us, unmarked players in the 6 yard box, players being allowed to run unopposed in on goal, no organisation no one willing to step up and be a leader directing things, midfield usually three/four yards behind their man slowly jogging back to allegedly help the defence. As a team we have kept a grand total of 4 clean sheets this season (winning two and drawing two, Mersin with 1 a win and Sandford with the other 3), we have failed to scored on 13 occasions, we have scored 3 goals in a game 3 times this season (2 wins and 1 loss, Mersin and Sandford with the wins and Hadler with the loss).
